About PaedSuccess

PaedSuccess is a young, dynamic company founded to provide outstanding preparation courses for the Membership Exams of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH UK).

We believe that there are a number of aspects that set us apart from our competition:

Personal experience

Our managers and organisers have many years of experience in clinical as well as academic Paediatrics. More importantly, they have taken the MRCPCH exams themselves and therefore have intimate knowledge of your needs and requirements. We believe that this first hand experience will be of direct benefit to you.

Dedicated to Paediatrics

Unlike other companies we exclusively provide courses in Paediatrics. Our expertise in this field and understanding of the key areas enable us to conduct courses which provide the perfect preparation for the MRCPCH exam.

Teaching in small groups

We believe that teaching in small groups (max. 20 participants) facilitates a more efficient learning environment, which allows better tutor/student interaction. Our courses are run in a seminar style in which the participants will find enough time to have their individual questions and uncertainties clarified. We do not believe that running courses in large lecture theatres with dozens of participants (i.e. lecture style teaching) is of benefit for candidates preparing for the MRCPCH exam.

Up to date

All our courses are fully up to date with regards to recent changes introduced by the Royal College Paediatrics and Child Health. This means for example that all lectures will feature the "new style questions" (introduced by the College in January 2004) including multiple choice questions (MCQs), extended matching questions (EMQs) and Best of Five Questions. In addition we are placing emphasis on recent hot topics which are likely to appear in the exam as well as new developments. Simultaneously we are focusing on recurring exam themes to provide a comprehensive preparation for the MRCPCH exam.

Carefully selected tutors

All our tutors have been selected on the basis of their clinical background as well as their proven track record in teaching. Most tutors are currently working clinically in leading teaching hospitals, many of which have outstanding national and international reputation. More importantly, they have years of experience in the subspecialties they are teaching on. We believe that choosing tutors with intimate knowledge of the fields they are lecturing on is of crucial importance.
